The vessel named MV Delphine, currently the world’s largest short haul Ro-Ro vessel navigating between England, Ireland and Europe, shall be equipped with two foldable Norsepower Rotor Sail systems.
World’s leading ROTOR SAIL systems provider Norsepower Oy Ltd. announced today the execution of a contract with CLdN company, the logistics specialist for sea, road and rail, for installing two Foldable Rotor Sails on the vessel named MV Delphine. This contract shall mark the seventh vessel on which Norsepower Rotor Sails have been used.
Preparations are in progress for the installation work scheduled to be completed until December 2022 for the Ro-Ro vessel built in 2018.
MV Delphine, navigating between England, Ireland and Europe with a cargo capacity of about 8.000 meters, is today the world’s largest short haul RoRo vessel.
