Yonca Onuk Shipyard signed a contract with Qatar Special Forces Command for 4 special operation boats.
Following the contract signed with Qatar Special Forces Command in DIMDEX Fair in 2018 for the supply of 8 MRTP 24/U SOC (4 being finalized + 4 optional), Yonca Onuk Shipyard has now contracted for 4 boats as well.
Having delivered the first 4 boats in 2021, Yonca Onuk Shipyard shall now build new boats equipped with 2 sets of 12.7mm STAMP Remotely Operated Weapon Systems by ASELSAN and a Mistral-3 Low Altitude Air Defense Missile System by MBDA (together with SIMBAD-RC Launcher).
With this final agreement, Yonca Onuk Shipyard shall have delivered Qatar a total of 24 MRTP series boats.
