About 40 percent of the 9-month exports of the ship and yacht sector were made from Yalova. The city’s 9-month exports in this sector reached 378 million 582 thousand dollars.
Turkey’s ship and yacht sector exports increased by about 7.1 percent from $921,859,000 to $987,213,000 in the January-September period, according to the Turkish Exporters Assembly.
Yalova’s january-September exports, which follow Istanbul closely in sectoral terms, increased by approximately 53.5 percent from $246,675,000 to $378,582,000 compared to the same period last year. Yalova’s share of the sector’s total exports carried out 38.34%.
