Having signed a contract in late 2019 with Smit Lamnalco Singapur involving three 42-meters-long terminal tugboats of class ASD RAstar 4200 and one MPV 4600 multipurpose tugboat, Uzmar Shipyard launched the contracted MPV 4600 multipurpose tugboat of 46.20 meters-long.
The launching ceremony organized in Uzmar Shipyard facilities was attended by Uzmar Chairman of Board A. Noyan Altuğ, Uzmar Honorary President Kaan Altuğ and Smit Lamnalco CFO Wouter Neiuwveld.
The 46.20 meters long MPV 4600 multipurpose tugboats designed by OSD IMT Ship Design & Marine Consultancy has a speed of 13,5 knots. The tugboat, equipped with ABC 12 DZC 2900kw@1000 Rpm main engines, has been certified by Bureau Veritas.
