Tersan Shipyard delivered the first of its four-vessels series, Coastal Passenger Vessel Havila Capella, to Havila Kystruten, which is a Norwegian company.
Havila Capella which has length of 124 meters and breath of 22 meters, will operate on Norway’s Historic Coastline of Bergen-Kirkenes.
Havila Capella was built as a vessel that provides high energy efficiency with LNG and battery and complies with low emission requirements. It has a battery capacity of 6500 kWs, which means it is the largest battery capacity vessel in the world so far.
Thanks to its innovative power generation system and energy-efficient hull design, Havila Capella can continuously navigate for four hours without zero emissions. The vessel is being recharged with hydroelectric power at the quay.
