Operating in the defense industry; the Turkish Company STM, continues the modernization of Agosta class submarines in Pakistan with the third vessel, and on the other hand, it is performing the corvette building project for Ukraine.
Making statements to members of the press at the 15th International Defense Industry Fair IDEF; Özgür Güleryüz, General Manager of STM, gave information about the projects carried out within the company.
Güleryüz stated that they had the chance to meet with many companies from many countries and said:
‘Our activities in Pakistan have been going on for a long time. The replenishment vessel was designed by STM. It was built in Karachi Shipyard and has been actively used by the Pakistani Navy for 3 years. Our activities on the modernization of Agosta class submarines are still in progress. The first vessel was delivered and the modernization efforts of the third vessel were started.
