PAKISTAN’S 4TH MILGEM CORVETTE WAS KEEL LAID

The 4th of the MILGEM corvettes exported from Turkey to Pakistan was keel laid in Karachi, Pakistan.

The MILGEM Corvette Project, whose prime contractor is Askeri Fabrika ve Tersane İşletme (ASFAT) A.Ş. of the Ministry of National Defense, continues as planned.

Within the scope of the project, which is the biggest export breakthrough of the indigenous defense industry in one item, a ceremony was held at Karachi Shipyard since the 4th of the MILGEM corvettes was keel laid.

The ceremony was attended by Pakistani Navy Commander Admiral Muhammad Amjad Han Niyazi, ASFAT Director General Esad Akgün and guests.
