The ship and yacht sector, which is among the sectors that increased its exports the most on a monthly basis in 2021, closed the year with an export figure of over 1.6 billion USD.
Despite all the negativities and being one of the sectors mostly affected by the severe conditions of the pandemic, the ship and yacht industry achieved exports at record levels in 2021.
Increasing its competitiveness in the world markets and being extremely successful in applying innovative technologies to projects, the sector achieved a historical first in 2021 by exceeding the export figure of 1.6 billion USD.
The sector’s target in 2022 is to realize an export of 1.8 billion USD.
