The ship and yacht sector were among the sectors with the highest increase in exports in April, as in March 2021. Ship and Yatch Exporters’ Association (GYHİB) exported a total of approximately 110 million dollars in April, with an export increase of 280 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. The Association exported approximately $321 million worth of products in the first four months of the year.
When examining the sub-items of the sector, 45 million dollars of fishing vessels; 43 million dollars of Towboats; 10 million dollars of yachts; 7 million dollars of other types of marine vehicles, and 5 million dollars of sub-industry exports have been recorded as exports made in April.
