Tersan Shipyard performed a simultaneous launch for Havila Polaris, Havila Pollux and Polar Bay, a longliner factory fishing vessel built for its Spanish customer Polar LTD, which are sister vessels of Havila Capella, the biggest battery capacity passenger vessel of the world, delivered in November.
The three vessels were launched simultaneously using the SPMT “self-propelled–modular transportation” system that was already used by the Shipyard in the past.
Each of the passenger vessels weighs about 6200 tons and is the length of 124 meters, while the fishing vessel Polar Bay is the length of 60 meters and weight about 2000 tons.
