Tersan Shipyard has launched its 99th Project NB1099 Krill capture and processing vessel, built for Rimfrost Norway in cooperation with Norwegian Westcon Shipyard.
The length of 120 meters Krill Fishing vessel designed by Konsberg will conduct Krill fishing operations in Antarctica.
The vessel, which meets IMO’s Polar Code and low emission standards, and stands out with the use of sustainable energy sources, will be an eco-friendly vessel.
The vessel, which has an optimized diesel-electric propulsion system based on low sulfur diesel, can provide optimum operation with minimum emissions.
Tersan Shipyard is planning to deliver the 120-meter-long Krill Fishing vessel, which will have a living space for 60 people, in the first quarter of 2022.
