Following a thorough renovation by Sedef Shipyard, Stena Baltica, the second of the RoPax ships of Stena Line and formerly known as Stena Mersey, was sent off to Norway.
The length of 190 meters RoPax vessel named Stena Mersey, operating under Stena Lines, went through a complete renewal in the facilities of Sedef Shipyard with a process that included an extension of 36 meters. The vessel which gained a length of 226 meters and was renamed as Stena Baltica also had its number of cabins increased by 80 to reach a total of 200.
The bow of the vessel can now be opened and loading and unloading operations are much faster and easier now, thanks to the new built-in ramps in each direction. Flap rudders and 3 bow thrusters were added to help increase the maneuvering ability of the vessel.
