The head part (Section 50) containing the submarine hatch tubes was manufactured at the Gürdesan Shipyard in Turkey for the first time with domestic and national facilities and delivered to the Gölcük Shipyard Command.
Another critical stage has been completed in the New Type Submarine Project (NTSP) launched by the Presidency of the Defense Industry (SSB) for the Turkish Naval Forces Command, one of the most active navies in the world.
The head part (Section 50), containing the submarine hatch tubes, which can only be manufactured by a few countries in the world, was manufactured at the Gürdesan Shipyard for the first time in Turkey under coordination of STM with mere domestic and national facilities. The first Section 50 manufactured by Gürdesan for Reis class submarines was delivered to Gölcük Shipyard Command by sea.
