Eregli Shipyard, which was built by Med Marine in 2004 and has been operating in Karadeniz Eregli since 2006, took the first step to build their 100th tugboat.
Med Marine held a sheet cutting ceremony to build its 100th Tugboat at the Ereğli Shipyard facilities in Karadeniz Ereğli. Karadeniz Eregli District Governor İsmail Corumluoglu, Eregli Port President Ali Görkem, Med Marine CEO Recai Hakan Sen, Shipyard Manager Kemal Bektas, Shipyard Production Manager Ayhan Akyol and Financial Affairs Manager Ipek Abdullahoglu have kindly attended the ceremony.
Med Marine, which builds its tugboats at Eregli Shipyard, has successfully completed the building and deliveries of nearly 200 projects, including tugboats, chemical/oil tankers, mooring and pilot boats.
The ASD type ER100 tugboat with a bollard pull power of 25 meters and 75 tons, of which sheet cutting ceremony was held, is planned to be equipped with high technology as the previous tugboats.
