Med Marine, one of the leading shipbuilders in the maritime sector, signed a contract with OMMP to construct six azimuth tugboats with the latest technology.
A contract was signed between Med Marine and the Office of Merchant Shipping and Ports (OMMP) at the office’s headquarters in Tunis.
OMMP reportedly selected Med Marine for its professionalism in the tugboat building sector and its performance in delivering turnkey vessels.
It was stated that the six azimuth tugs, each with a length of 28 meters and 60 tons of pulling power, were designed by the famous Robert Allan design team of the RAstar 2800 series. It was emphasised that these vessels represented the cutting edge of maritime technology.
