Karpowership, association of Karadeniz Holding, has signed a cooperation agreement with Nakilat, which is the company of Qatari state in the field of floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) investments and liquefied natural gas (LNG).
Karpowership, association of Karadeniz Holding, has signed a cooperation with Nakilat, which is the company of Qatari state in the field of LNG. According to a written statement made by the company, Karpowership and Nakilat plan to establish a new joint venture company and put into use the first FSRU up to 2023.
Assessing the agreement with Nakilat, Karpowership Top Manager Orhan Remzi Karadeniz said, “We believe that we have fulfilled our responsibility in the global energy transformation by increasing our LNG assets, FSRUs in our fleet, and by using LNG, a cleaner, reliable and sustainable fuel, in many of our projects.”
