Having succeeded in projects of new building, Kuzey Star Shipyard started its first conversion project.
The off-shore support vessel Grip Marine, built in 2012 with an overall length of 86 m and a beam of 18 meters, operating as an off-shore service vessel in Norway, shall be converted into a carrier of live fish in Kuzey Star Shipyard.
The conversion operation that took start in Kuzey Star Shipyard facilities shall comprise the laying of 255 tons of pipes, including galvanized, stainless steel and fish pipes, in the vessel and their assembly using special couplings.
The vessel shall also be equipped with ozone oxygen system, RSW system, RO system, vacuum room system.
The project further includes the installation of two units of movable partitions made of 20 tons of stainless. The vessel shall also house up to 200 switchboards and 8 units of 3500 cbm main circulation system pump.
