DFDS, which had 12 vessels in its fleet in 2018, is expanding its operations in Turkey with the Mediterranean Business Unit. The company currently carries the cargo of exporters with 19 vessels, and its goal is to increase the number of vessels to 21 by 2022.
DFDS Mediterranean Business Unit Vice President Fuat Pamukçu stated that they are both the leader of Europe in the fields of maritime and logistics and also the key partner of logistics companies carrying Turkish export goods.
Pamukçu said, “DFDS Mediterranean Business Unit has the highest shipping capacity ever from Turkey to Europe. We served Turkish exporters with 19 vessels in 2021. We aim to increase our fleet to 21 vessels next year.”
