The news is that the winner of the tender announced by the Scottish public body Caledonian Maritime Assets (CMAL) for two new ferryboats was Cemre Shipyard.
It has been declared that the company which placed the most favorable bid for the tender for two new ferryboats initiated by Caledonian Maritime Assets, the public body that serves Clyde Firth and Northern Island on the west coast of Scotland, was Cemre Shipyard.
CMAL Director Jim Anderson reported that four shipyards placed attractive offers for the tender, but following the technical and financial evaluations Cemre Marin Endüstri became the winner.
Following the tender, execution of the official contract is expected to take place in the coming weeks.
