The landing ships QL40 Broog and QL41 ISHAT, built to fulfill the requirements of Qatar Armed Forces pursuant to the contract signed between Barzan Holdings and Anadolu Shipyard, have been launched with a ceremony organized at the Tuzla Facility of Anadolu Shipyard.
Süalp Ürkmez, Chairman of the Board at Anadolu Shipyard, delivered a speech in the ceremony where he said that the shipbuilding operation was completed in such a short time as 7.5 months after the execution of contract and that delivery shall take place following the harbor acceptance tests.
