Med Marine, one of the leading tugboat producers in Turkey, delivered the tugboat with a bollard pull power of 120 tons that was built pursuant to the agreement it has signed with the Kenya Port Authority.
The tugboat ordered by the Kenya Port Authority as part of the modernization efforts shall be employed in Mombasa, the biggest port of Eastern Africa, and be the biggest tugboat operating along the coast of the Indian Ocean.
The RAstar 4200 (MED-A42120) grade towboat with a total length of 42 meters and a width of 16 meters was built and equipped in Ereğli Shipyard of Med Marine according to SOLAS requirements.
