70 MILLION DOLLARS WORTH VESSEL AND YACHT EXPORTS IN FEBRUARY

According to the Exporters Assembly data, the vessel and yacht sector achieved the highest level of increase in exports by doing 70 million 467 thousand dollars’ worth of exports to 72 countries last month.

According to the data published by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), the exports done by the vessel and yacht sector increased by 388.1 percent from the level of 14 million 436 thousand dollars in February 2021 to 70 million 467 thousand dollars in the same period of this year.

While achieving the highest level of increase in exports last month, the vessel and yacht sector took a 0.4 percent share from the total exports by Turkey.

In the vessel and yacht sector which witnessed product exports from 18 cities in Turkey last month, 28 million 421 thousand dollars of the total exports was scored by Yalova. This figure corresponds to 72 percent of the total exports in the sector.
